When Data Meets Sustainability: Upsize Joins Universitas Padjadjaran to Inspire Action Through Insight

In Upsize’s latest collaboration with Universitas Padjadjaran’s Statistics Student Society, we explored how data and machine learning take roles in sustainability: from climate change and disaster management to weather forecasting and energy transition.

The key event of this collaboration was the keynote seminar, which highlighted the urgency and importance of incorporating data across disciplines in advancing sustainability. In ocean and atmospheric sciences, data plays a key role in observing, understanding, and forecasting what has happened, is happening, and will happen on our planet.
